CHECCHI'31

The boat is characterized by streamlined lines, with a maximum width of just under two and a half meters, an indispensable feature to be able to be trailerable. The external layout is optimized to maximize usability in moments of relaxation and to enhance the pleasures of sailing. In the large central cockpit 4 people can live together without interfering with one another, both during maneuvering operations and enjoying an aperitif at the end of the day. The deck is free from any kind of maneuver, allowing you to walk on the bridge without stumbling. Aft a generous raised sundeck can generously accommodate 2 people including large stowage lockers; alternatively it can be lowered to the level of the cockpit floor, offering greater protection for sunbathing even during navigation. The embossed from bow to stern, the standard natural teak deck, the visible carbon details and the attention to detail further embellish this yacht.

SLEEPING AREA:

The sleeping area is contained but hospitable, of course there is not enough height to stand, but the access is very comfortable and once you have taken a position in the cozy seats you have the feeling of being in a very comfortable environment. The deckhouse, in addition to the sliding hatch, is equipped with a compass opening system of the entire ceiling and a 360 ° mirror window; from the inside you can enjoy the sea in the round refreshed by the breeze that comes in copious. The bunks, two singles and one double, are generous and easily accessible. The furnishings are basic but complete and include a small gas cooker, a sink, an icebox and an electric toilet with macerator and black water tank.

AT THE HELM:

The Checchi 31 'is a true yacht, small in the eyes of the modern boat owner, but to sail we have the feeling of a sailing ship. A boat of other times but extremely modern and technological, solid and sturdy but light when passing over a wave, rigorous when the wind comes up again but generous enough for load-bearing gaits. The narrow hull, the deep and heavy keel, the large mainsail and the self-tacking jib mean that the boat prefers upwind. With light wind the resistance to advancement is limited and the hull glides over the water without disturbing it; when the wind strengthens, the skid increases, the bow and stern thrusts lean on the wave, the dynamic length grows and all the propulsive power is released. At the helm it is still very balanced and the critical speed of the hull is easily exceeded. The bar is never too heavy and in any condition guarantees sensitivity and precision. The retracted position of the furling system allows a zero code or gennaker to be walled up to the extreme bow without the need to arm a bowsprit.
